Avatar Star is the newest third person shooter with childish graphics. You have three classes to choose from:gunner,assassin and guardian and thats it. Character customization is great but for some items you will have to pay. There are 3 game mods king of the hill,domination,team deathmatch. Game is in the beta right now and if you wanna try it go here. Personally i like the king of the hill mod but i am not gonna stick to this game cuz i already played Micro Volts and Brawl Busters and to me AS is full copy of them and does not bring anything new to the genre.

Hello everyone,

My name is Eric and I have been designing a game based on the old diablo 1 style. I am in desperate need of good testers for bug issues and fresh ideas to design upon. I have a website and a host server already set up for testing only. I am just looking for fellow gamers to come in and destroy the game, then tell me the flaws and changes they might want to see.

Current projects in construction!

1: Complete reconstruction of the base chars, races and animations. I have hired a modeler and animator to do this and expect results within the next month or so.

2: World map is in constant construction and will be for some time. I intend to add many new secret area's, map locations, hunting area's that stretch far beyond what is already ingame.

Some ingame projects already developed!

1: 1-80 areas. Catacombs. Hiddens Area's and boss's. I don't want to release to much as this will hurt the mystery of the game.

I call upon explorer's, dominant pvpers and creator's to assist me in creating an epic final stage for this game! I have a decent budget and will be producing and implementing many of the diverse idea's I want as well as things introduced to me that match my ideals.

We featured Marvel Heroes on our Top 10 superhero list recently because of it's hype; that and the fact that there are few superhero MMOs you can currently play. Luckily you can do it from April 26th to April 28th with this key.
The game comes out it June, so you may want to give it a try before its full release.

Hopefully someone can put use to the key because the game is really fun, especially for Marvel fans. If you do use the key, try and leave a post to let people know you got to it first.

Hello (: I'm looking for some good mmorpg's but the thing is I can't use a keyboard :/ I have a muscle weakness and am limited to the mouse and onscreen keyboard. I found another topic elsewhere about someone with the same issue and someone suggested Vanguard, so I looked into it and I thought it looked really fun! I got excited and downloaded it but soon discovered you need to use the keyboard to move :( What I need is a game where you click to move and have the hotkey command bar in the game so you can click the actions to fight. Hope I made sense :P Anyway my favorite theme is fantasy, Something like Vanguard is good.

Is it even possible to make a F2P without selling advantages?

Free to play games always seem to be divided into one of two things:

1) Pay to win, or pay to get ahead. (selling gear with good stats or exp boosts)
2) RNG gambling, or paying for a random chance to get some pay to win item of advantage (like keys for treasure boxes, lockboxes, or crafting success enhancements)

Is it possible to make an F2P that doesn't result in giving someone an advantage and the developer still making money?

I have come across a few channels on Ustream and Twitch that stream live demos of games that are being created by indie developers. Sometimes it's so independent it even comes from gaming programs in colleges.

I have been trying it out but was wondering what others had to say about it. It's fun but it seems just like 100 other MMOs. There is tweaked ideas but generally things seem rehashed. There's even a fighting panda... like... really? Already? I like the pet system though, with the Majinns.They handle well. But even that seems like a ripoff of Digimon. 3 stages of evolution, each being more complex/bigger than the last, usable for specific moments.

Anyone else trying the beta? Might be up your alley if you are looking for something fresh, not if you are looking for something entirely original. A cool thing in some betas is there level of competition for real life stuff, which is happening in the aurora world. Check out the goals for the beta below.
