  April 2012 Post: 1 Karma is simple: you earn it by posting in threads, creating threads, and participating in community events. You also earn bonus karma for milestones (100th post, 10th thread, etc). You then redeem your karma for prizes; the prizes change from month-to-month but there's always a constant larger prize for which you can trade in karma.  Basic ways to earn Karma: Posting in a thread: 2 karma  Creating a new thread: 5 karma
