Hello guys! I am so, so sorry that I was away for so long!! I had no internet other than my phone and to do everything for the website would have eaten up my bandwidth HARDCORE, so I couldn't. I have INTERNET now, so I will be back and writing tomorrow =D

What has gone on since my disappearance?!

Welcome back! I don't know what I'd do without internet.

When I moved recently I didn't have internet for a full day and it felt like the longest day ever. I learned that my PC is basically useless without internet.

Thanks! I kind of survived. I had bought an NES and an N64 to keep me occupied, baha. It's all good now and I am the happiest person alive now that I have internet.

    Welcome back to the Underverse.

I always find it amazing how much the internet has integrated into people's lives, and even social media as well. Get's you thinking how things will be in the future. Most likely when people are born, they will install wi-fi right into each baby so everyone is connected to a global network, with hubs all over the world.

not to derail this thread, racquel it's great to have you back but im curious.  I just got back from about a week and a half of vacation where I was sailing, so no internet, phone, etc, and it felt great.  Heading out to do some solo backpacking later this week because I loved the feeling of NOT being connected to the web.  Its clear however that you all seem to feel rather different on the topic...

I work full time on my computer, plus with hobbies like gaming it can become a bad deal. So I'm similar, in that I actually try and get disconnected from the world by going camping, fishing, boating, hiking, etc. So far I've been going camping/fishing each weekend for the most part.. and during the week a lot of the time I'll go fishing somewhere near by, to relax - even if the fishing is bad. Just kick back, enjoy some music or peace and quiet, and always a cold beer in hand.

Howdy, Stranger!
