So you've all seen the Daily Drop. Tell us honestly what you think of it. What we need to add. What we need to take away. Any thoughts you have at all. Do we need to keep doing it? Or would you prefer a weekly thing or what? |

I love the Daily Drop and I especially enjoy the engaging personality of the host, Jess! |
|
Why is Jess not on the columnists side on the home page? weekly MMO video reviews on the types of MMOs out there who are on staff getting paid. So each Kirk, Kyle and Jess take turns finding a MMO and doing a quick playthrough on the game and talk about the pros and cons of the MMO. FRAPS, Playclaw are good programs for capturing gameplay. Any skits you can think of around the office that would be funny could help. Like the coffee machine goes missing and Jess takes it and makes coffee for her self like a sneaky devil that she is. |
how come? |

The daily drop was hit with a critical strike, and has now suffered a painful death. There is no memorial service scheduled at this time. I think the show was on the right track, however honestly it was missing the spice and extra love that you see in other videos. I've always thought it should be longer, but I noticed the Daily Fix by IGN sits at around 2 minutes a video with decent views, so I guess it can be done. Maybe instead of a daily drop, do a weekly one, and talk about what has happened in the gaming industry over the past week, and give more information on topics, than brief information that is the daily drop. When that show starts to build up a better view count, then split off and do a daily drop. Also, in order to help with getting more subscribers, views, etc, you need to try and get some more unique content. Try to lock in better interviews with companies that are in the gaming news often or even recent - get the scoop on controversial topics or things that people want to hear about, get your hands on a game to preview first hand and sneak peaks. Generally, all the gaming news outlets are reporting on the same news one way or the other. It's just how it's presented. |

I think that the Daily Drop is a good thing to have. The length, now that it has gone on to a longer duration, is good. The overlays of the different examples of the news was good. It's about news, at least from what I got from it. I guess you could incorporate more... interaction with the subscribers, could be an idea. The contest was a good idea, or get people involved by asking them to do stuff... uh.. can't think of anything off of the top of my head though. -_- |

im not sure but i actually watched each one... if thats not overly creepy/wierd maybe improve on the comedy. thats what i would suggest but besides that others have summed up the rest, that is above my post. |
