I want to post this here both to share this with everyone as well as put it somewhere where I don't lose it.  Raptr hit me with this link and it blew my mind.

    Things im super juiced for:
    Elderscrolls online: duh
World of... everything: apparently the end game for the Wargaming guys is actually to combine WoT, WoWp, WoB into a full on battlefield where you dogfight, bomb tanks/airplanes, shell the ground, AA planes... that could really be incredible
Wildstar: the idea that you basically change the game based on what you like to do is really interesting.  Hopefully if you have a team of everyone you get the full experience.  Excited to see where this idea takes us
Planetside2: didnt play the first, but this looks like the future of FPS games in general.  Giant giant battlefields with stuff going on everywhere.  F2P model is an interesting choice, I hope things move this way for FPSes in the future
GuildWars2: this might be old news, but debuffing your char to play with lower level friends? why has that not been done?  Played the first a bit, loved it, this ought to be awesome!

    Things they didnt even include:
Mechwarrior online: because im a mechwarrior fan!
Dust 514: an fps that integrates with the EVE MMO?  crazy talk, but also awesome.  Excited to see where this goes!

The future of video games looks good!

I personally am waiting for Guild Wars 2. I have heard so many good things about it. My husband after doing a ton of research on it tried to sell me out on it a couple weeks ago and we broke down and got the pre order so we could get in on the last beta. We played all weekend and i was definitely impressed.

I hate to admit that i would ever find something that would be as good as Red Stone has been for me the last 5 years... but Guild Wars 2 has so many things not often seen in MMORPGs. I really like Unique games. I really like games that are a challange.

I was most impressed by the difficulty of the game, it was definitely not a game you could easily just space out on and get by. It was not a game that you could sit and do nothing or set up a bot to level for you. Guild Wars 2 has so many aspects that really force players to be on thier toes constantly or they will find themselves dead. And more imortantly (for me anyway) was the Guild system. I didnt get to really try it out as much as i had hoped, being it was a beta and only for the weekend. But the options i saw in the guild menu were extencive. Customization in ranks and permissions (Im very big on having structure in my guild) guild achevements and rewards... World vs World battles...

Im excited to actually see what this is all gonna look like when its actually released. I know there have been rumors of it being released as early as august. I sure hope so. I cant wait to start playing it.

Something wrong with the forums? I get permission denied on most of the new threads. Just curious.

I'm kinda getting tired of MMOs, since they are always lack luster. I'm keeping an eye on the Elders Scroll MMO, and Mechwarrior (been waiting for this one for years).

Should be fine now. The threads on the homepage were showing threads from the super secret MMO Attack private forums.

Check out RaiderZ, its basically the Monster Hunter MMO but with a NA/EU release. Its currently in alpha but should be out in 2012 since its primarily just a localization from Korean. Seriously every Korean MMO of the last few years has been amazing, but rarely do we get a NA/EU release.
