Hello all!
I am Racquel.
I am from South-Western Ontario. I am attending University taking Communications. I love writing, it is honestly one of my favourite pass-times. Reading and playing video games are up there as well. I am moreso fond of the PS3 but I don't mind a good game of Halo even though my gamerscore is not good at all.
My ultimate favourite game is Assassin's Creed. I absolutely love the story-line behind it. Yes, I am into conspiracy and all of that. It is just pure awesome. Skyrim is up there as well. I am a sucker for a good story-line, dammit! I love dragons, which is why I liked Skyrim so much.
One day, I am hoping that Ubisoft or Game Informer will see me...as that is ultimately where I want to end up at. I would love to write for Game Informer or be in Communications or Public Relations with Ubisoft, although, I may have to learn french..

No, you didn't mention that you found it, but our conversation over the MMO Attack gaming recap had me figured you did. I love acoustic guitar. It's AWESOME. Although, I don't think I have a good voice, I still love to play. -
Cool intro. I'm jealous your from Ontario, or Canada for that matter. Every time I see pictures from up that way, they are seriously breath taking. I thought Assassin Creed had an epic story line as well. Not a lot of games pull me into their story line, however that game totally did. Couldn't wait to grab the controller to see what happened next. Though I'm also one for conspiracy, coups, etc. It's because of the suspense really.
Game Informer is one of my favorite magazines. They always seem laid back, and out to have a lot of fun with their writing. I used to be really big on PC Gamer, until I got my hands on Game Informer. Been receiving that mag for years now. I'm sure they will pick you up within a heart beat someday. Have you submitted your resume to them yet?

@Bloodbath - I have submitted a resume for an Associate Editor that they were looking for, so we shall see how that goes. By the looks of the number of views for that job ad though... I am looking like I am going to be a blip on the map, so to speak, haha. -
Oh cool a fellow Canadian. Where are you in Ontario? I'm near Ottawa in the Ottawa Valley. Pembroke is where i live...the asshole of Ontario lol. This is so cool to have a fellow Canadian on here. Quick question. Are you going to Ottawa Comic Con in May? I am. Gonna nerd out -
@Pro - I am in Windsor and Detroit is right on the other side from me. I would say about 10 minutes away. I am originally from Sarnia though, which is about 2 hours from Windsor.

I would live anywhere rather than Pembroke. No jobs, no bars, no nothing. It's a retirement town filled with old people that complain about local venues and stuff.
If you go to Ottawa Comic Con I'll send a group invite and we can dungeon run Comic Con together lol ^_^ -

I would LOVE to go to the Ottawa Comic Con!! My friend lives in Ottawa and I told him I wanted to go to the one that is coming up! We should definitely make a plan to do that.
@Originaldudegamerguy - My boyfriend lives in Sarnia, at the moment because he works full time there and I am just here in Windsor for school, after school, who knows where I will end up. -

I don't even know how to respond to that other than that no, just because we are a part doesn't mean anyone has a chance. I don't want to go on a whole ramble about how I love him, but it's true and I wouldn't do anything to hurt him like that. -
I guess maybe I worded that wrong. I meant as in who knows where I will end up in terms of where I am moving to. Not necessarily who I will be dating. -
