So I thought it was about time that I said 'hi' to everyone and introduce myself.
I'm Debs.
I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and like everyone here I'm a bit of a gamer. Being the sort who's kind of all over the place, I studied Criminology, then changed direction to work in gaming, and now I write about video games and read comics when I get a chance.
Also, I'm a terrible collector of video game and Aliens/Predators stuff which is becoming a horrible addiction! I can imagine I'll end up being one of those people on Hoarders, buried under a pile of Alien figurines, replica weapons and Monster Hunter plushies. I already need a bigger apartment. :P
Yeah, so ... me in a nutshell. Hi folks!

Well you're my new best friend because Aliens and Predator franchises are my all time fav. I really cant wait for AvP3 to come out. And Prometheus looks like a wet dream -

I'm so glad that there's another Aliens and Predator fan around! Even though they really weren't great films, I can't help but squeal every time I see the first Alien vs Predator fight in AvP! And Sigourney - the ultimate tough chick! Well, her and Linda Hamilton... -

I wish I could like Batman, but I'm more of a Marvel girl. :/ I bet when I finally get around to playing Arkham Asylum/City, I'll probably change my mind though. Does cat stuff include Catwoman? I think she's one of the few DC characters that I like. :P -

I haven't chimed in. Just wanted to say hello. I've always liked the AVP, mostly for the aliens of course. They are so badass. I don't have anything cool from the series though. Sad. -

Yeah I've got a few things from the CE games that I've bought.
I've currently got on order the Portal Replica gun and the Dead Space 2 plasma cutter, plus a replica miniature Claptrap that talks!
When I get those in I might gather all the stuff to take a photo! -

MMOSpecialist - I didn't rate the second one, but the first one was cool just to see awesome Alien/Predator fights.
And thank you pr0ph! Most people think I'm crazy for the amount I spend on this stuff, but you actually end up meeting some interesting people by collecting it too! One of the shops I frequent had replica Predator spear for sale (like this one) just because the owner is a fan of the stuff. He owns a bookstore lol!

from the sounds of it, you should get a job playing D3... you would make a killing with time and a half overtime for over 8hrs a day LOL. Good luck though, your website is well put together though, I've enjoyed it everytime I've hopped on it!Goodluck with the job hunt! -

That's not totally accurate! I've definitely played 40+ hours, but I often tab out to check/write emails, reply to DMs, etc. Also, the sun is trying to kill me - that sucker can stay on the other side of my window blinds!It's too soon to ween yourself off Diablo, it just came out!
I knoooooww... and I haven't even hit a lvl 60 yet! My DH is getting totally dominated in Nightmare by any rare mob. I can't quit entirely until I hit at least one 60, but I'm tempted to try and get as many achievements as possible! :PNow, as I mentioned to Lucig3n on Twitter, it has completely ruined my sleeping pattern! It's 3:30am here right now and I'm wide awake O_O THAT'S why I need to ween myself off it a little bit! -
