    Hey Everyone!

So I will be heading out to Maryland to get a full introduction to The Elder Scrolls Online later this month.  I will have the opportunity to speak with a developer or two about the game and was wondering what questions I should ask.

Please post any and all questions here, and i'll be sure to keep you updated!

MMORPGs have a history of falling into some fairly predictable traps, for example everyone's the hero who has to save the world, or weak and sometimes even contradictory lore. These problems result in watering down or even breaking the RPG experience. What do you do, if anything, to provide a true RPG experience in an MMO format?

If the MMO aspect of Elder Scrolls Online was removed do you think the game could stand on its own, and still provide a worthwhile experience for fans of the Elder Scrolls series?

If the PR guy will let you ask those questions ask them... Its a rarity that developers are ever allowed to answer questions regarding whether they think their game is actually good.

I haven't been following the game to much (no time), but info on if the title will be subscription based or free to play would be good to know. I'm hoping that it is subscription based, as let's be honestly - it does cut out a lot of the BS. Never could understand why people cannot justify $15.00 a month for 30 days of entertainment, which is less than 50 cents a day. A movie that is around 2 hours of entertainment is the same price, or going out to eat, etc. If they were able to lower it to like $10.00 a month, probably would be even more successfully yet keeping that constantly flow of income coming in.

How will the PvP work? Will the whole world be PvP, just arenas, certain areas... how is that going to be set up?  Also when you do kill someone can you loot them for their stuff?  Frankly if I cant sneak attack x15 a random player in a town and steal all their crap, I'm not interested.

Will you still have to aim skills or is it going to be a more typical mmo experience

    First person mode?

Will the character creation be as in depth as what has been seen with the previous titles? Mounts? How many people do they aim to have per world? Can you slaughter entire villages? If the answer is no, this is destined to fail. Will there be additional activities in the game, such as fishing, cookings, logging, etc? Is there player owned houses, as this was big about the past games in having your own home? Will it be based on different factions (RvR), or what? - I haven't followed up so if these are already kinda mentioned, then ignore.

So I am back from Maryland and I was able to interview Matt Firor and another guy, who's name is avoiding me right now.

I asked pretty much all the questions above and will hopefully have a video up for you sometime next week.
