Hello! The names kingwithak, my real names Tyler. I live in Michigan currently, though I would love to be somewhere out west. I'm a full time student studying Computer Engineering. I enjoy music and gaming A LOT. I mainly play First Person Shooters, though I do dabble in some MOBAs or strategy games. Counter Strike: Source was my main game, now I play CS:GO and TF2 a bit.

Also I'm terrible at Dota 2, but trying to learn! =P
Hope to get to know you all and maybe play some games together!

    Welcome!

Is your handle King with a K, or King Withak, or King with AK?

I do dabble in battlefield actually, but I haven't picked up BF3 yet. I'm waiting for the summer so I can play it on my desktop and max that baby out!

Luckily summer is around the corner, because BF3 is epic. Glad you'll be playing it on PC verse console. Nothing against consoles, however a game such as BF3 needs to be played on a PC to enjoy it's full extent of awesomeness.

Bloodbath I'm in the same boat as you. And I absolutely love when a company actually challenges computer hardware to put out amazing details.

We aren't arrogant Jessica, just stating the obvious facts. =]

Exactly. Also there is no compare between PC vs Console. When you have no option to hit MAX all settings, it's not really a competition in my book. When you get it on PC, ping me. We'll blow up some shin dig.

I'm just happy when I put my game in my console it works. Where as a PC there could be an error and then you're screwed from playing the game.

Well true somewhat. Least with a PC, an issue can be troubleshooted and corrected. I've not had a game error on me, that I could not find a fix for.

Yeah I was in alpha and closed beta. Now in alpha and early closed, it was hell. I mean creatures not moving, animations broken. But it was beta. I thought launch was actually extremely smooth. One of the best I've seen? Ran into nothing game breaking early on. The lack of server room was a pain, but not really related to the game.

Well I do give consoles the benefit of the doubt, when it comes to people who are not very knowledgeable with computers. It's plug and play. However people who own a computer, and don't know how to self troubleshoot issues, are most likely the majority of the people having problems. They don't keep up on updated software, drivers, etc, and then complain the game is broken.

I get what your saying, and your completely right. Being able to just drop a disk in and play is excellent. I'm just saying, a lot of 'errors' people face with their computer, are generally lack of maintenance. Gives PC gaming a bad name. It's like owning a car. Don't maintenance it.. it's going to break or have problems.

    Aww thanks =P

And Pr0p3yx you make some valid points. But like bloodbath said I haven't had a game crash on me that couldn't be fixed. Also I went the PC route because of constant updates. I've heard figures from a few companies on what it costs to update, and it makes sense that they don't bother to fix anything minor on a console.

Thanks mmospecialist, it's tough program but the first year has been pretty fun so I'm excited to see what is in store for me next year.
