So Kirk had asked me on the other forum topic what my list of ideas for costumes would be if I attended the San Diego Comic Con. So I decided to start a thread and post it here. I also wanted to see if anyone else did cosplay before if attending these events. Even if you didn't dress up yourself, what would your ideal costumes be if you did and have you seen any great ones during your visits to such events? I have thought of a couple before, even if just for Halloween. My choices would be Ash Ketchum, Aang/Zuko/KingBumi from Avatar, Speed Racer, Inuyasha or Miroku, any DBZ fighter, Ryu from street fighter, and Eyeshield 21. There are probably a bunch more I would do, but those I have thought of the most I guess. |

Although I have never dressed up for an event like that before I do think it would be pretty fun to do. I'd prefer to go as something where you couldn't recognize at all who I was, and was all about the costume so that I could get super in to it. I have realized though, that the ones with the best costumes spend most of their time at the event taking pictures with people, so you'd have to prepare being harassed all day long. |

If I could get my hands on this costume I would totally go as this, Silver Crow from Accel World. That or I would do either Inuyasha or Kirito from Sword Art Online. |

I would totally be professor oak. I haven't seen many pictures of people doing that. Maybe it's because he would just look like a random old doctor. |
That's genius!!! You could just walk around saying, "Welcome back!" or "Wonderful!" (... I really hope someone gets that game reference...) |
I got you! |

I had dressed up as Desmond from Assassin's Creed for when I went to Youmacon this past year. It was a very simple, extremely last minute thing, but it worked. |

if i could find a good enough mask replica, Id cosplay as corvo from dishonored... itd have to be a legit good mask though haha |

If there was a cool way to do Carnage I would, but usually it's really expensive to get something that would be worth wearing. There are usually tons of basic spider-mans of course... and Deadpool is ufking everywhere nowadays. (Yes... ufking.) |
I SAW A RIDICULOUS CARNAGE WHEN I WENT TO NYC COMIC CON 2012. And the picture I took of him was kinda blurry because he was moving a lot and it... really... really... looked like he was Carnage!!! I'll post the picture when I find it on my photostream!!! |
