Hi, everyone. I'm Jess's mom. Jess and Kirk told me I had to start a new thread to introduce myself instead of taking over Jess's thread. Being Jess's mom is my only claim to fame. I love to read, see movies, enter sweepstakes and contests and I am also an aspiring author. I'm obviously not too good at that, as I've collected lots of rejections for my manuscripts, but the only thing I've sold is a few greeting card ideas and two very short magazine humor pieces. I don't really game much except for playing Jewel Quest online when I should be doing other things. But I do recommend this site to all my friends so they can see Jess do her daily gaming videos. -
Welcome to the forums! Keep pursuing your writing though, it sounds like you are progressing and maybe one day you'll have a breakthrough
Hope to hear a few movie reviews too, I don't think we have any on here yet! -
I agree never give up on you're dreams. Look where Jess has gotten so far. I just help out by giving a few idea's for her and shes doing great.

Hi jodelle!! If I may be so bold as to suggest a new game... if there is an xbox in the household you might try HexicHD. I think it comes by default on xbox (or its a free download) and I know that my mother absolutely loves it despite her inability to navigate the menus :P -
Thanks for all the encouraging words about my writing! And lucig3n, what kind of game is HexicHD? I have a Wii at home now and I may have Jess's old XBox in the basement, unless she took it with her when she moved. -
Hexic is a great game. You might like it. Works you're brain quite well -
Its a little hard to describe. Its kind of a puzzly game where there are hexagons of colors and you try to get groups of them together by rotating at an intersection of 3 hexagons and then you can make circley things... yea how about I just link you to a video. It looks confusing but you can go at your own pace and just have a great time!

Yup, I think you have my old Xbox 360 in that one cabinet in the family room - I took my slim one with me to California.
And I believe Hexic is an Xbox Live Arcade game.

Ok. But you may not hear back from me for a while on the game. I have a seasonal job now and while I'm working, I don't really have time for much gaming. Too busy just keeping up with work and the rest of my life.
