So. I'm SUPER addicted to Dota 2. Even though it's still in beta. Anyone else around here playing? -

I just recently started playing. I'm terrible! I came from playing LoL and I'm still picking up on the new elements of the game. So far it's been a lot of fun though -

I range from decent to good at the game, depending on hero/team composition/etc, so I can maybe help. Plus that'd be a great game to kick off the first official game night. -

I never bothered checking into it, looked to random. However after watching some of the game play last night on your live feed, might have to give this try. -

I think the game's a ton of fun - but it DOES have a steep learning curve if you didn't play the first one, HoN, or LoL. In my opinion it's worth it, though.

Sure no problem. I'll try and watch future ones if I catch the tweet for it.
Never played the first, or those other games. Never been my type. The game does seem to have it's own unique style of gameplay though. I do like the fast pace of the game, or at least it looked intense watching it hah. -
If you're just starting out, i'd pick a ranged character, i like to play as the sniper, just because I can kind of sit back and figure out how to play the game. -

Nowdays dota 2 is kind of free to play on steam -
I just got into the Beta, haven't loaded it up yet, but I plan to a bit here and there. I can't really play a MOBA right now, life is a little demanding, but I will still give it a shot whenever I can.
