Hey everyone! My name is Devin and I am a new contributor to mmo attack. Basically just writing this to tell you guys about me. I have played lots of MMO's and for some reason the type of MMO's that intrigue me are browser based. You all may not believe me, but there are some good browser MMO's out there. I am mostly going to write about my opinion on certain MMO's and how good I think they are. I am open to suggestions on what to write, so inbox me or comment here. Also I am always open to trying new MMO's and MMORPG's. Comment here if you want to know anything else about me or have suggestions on what to write.

Welcome to the team and the forums Devin!  Great to have you.  You are one of the few people i've met that actively seeks out Browser based MMOs!  What are your favorite Browser based MMOs?  That could even be an article topic!

Ive never even looked into browser based games, I always figured they were just a less indepth, slower version of a normal game.  So why do you like them? what makes a browser game better than a normal one?  Im actually really curious.

Also nice to meet ya, and welcome!  if you are currently playing anything let everyone here know (if you want to play with friends that is :P )

I used to play browser games all the time, years back. None of this graphical browser stuff though now and days.. used to play Solar Empire and Quest for Yap the most. There was an RPG game I played, don't even remember the name. Played both of those for years... and we're talking 10 years or so ago. lol

I also kinda had thot the same thing lucig3n. But actually i found one that was kinda cool. Drakensang Online. It was something my husband and i could play while he was at work between calls (he does tech support for a phone company). We didnt get very far into it, and its no Red Stone :P but it was fun and pretty in depth for being a brower based game.

Oh and hi and welcome Devin! Glad to see more peeps around here :D

The one plus to all browser MMOs is obviously there is no download, which means less waiting, more playing; I guess. If you spend your time to look, the core gameplay of some browser based MMOs is actually very good. If you can look past the lack in graphics they are very fun to play. @LLunatic, I have looked at drakensang online, was going to play it soon sometime. It is the first browser MMO that I have seen that has decent 3D graphics. It looks a lot like WoW. Right now I am playing a browser MMO called Crystal Saga. I also was about to start another one called Serenia Fantasy. It has classic 2D graphics, like Zelda, so I found it interesting. Not really playing any download MMOs right now I need more Ram. I play Minecraft a lot. Ha ha. And I also play Toribash sometimes if that counts as an MMO.

Nice to meet you Devin!  :) Very cool you like browser based MMO's.  The one definite benefit is being able to play on multiple computers/platforms.  Fun times!  Looking forward to reading your articles!
