Should start a hardcore group. Although whoever dies first, will get pointed and laughed at, with more to follow.

I'm totally down to start a hardcore group! It sounds less daunting than going at it alone. Tell me the time and what character I should be lol. So far I've played Wizard, Witch Doctor, and Barbarian.

Ugh, I'm still on the fence about whether I'm going to roll a hardcore character or not.

I might try it once....but when I die, I'm not starting a new one.

Oh God, not only would I NOT start another one, I would probably call myself an idiot for starting one in the first place.. -_-

I think the key would be to keep a constant flow of good gear from our high level characters, that way we wouldn't have to worry as much about loot for HC characters.

If you die on hardcore, you must create a new character.  Don't let the game beat you. Also, sorry Choopa about earlier. Was off and on, and just running around with a friend real casually since we were both multi-tasking on a project. Did eventually scroll up and seen your messages lol. I don't watch chat to often.

Hardcore sounds fun, but I would only want to play if I had a full party of friends on.
Oh and my name is kingwithak#1823

I don't play a whole lot but when I do I'm on for hours haha

Just beat Nightmare mode! On to Hell.

Also, the servers were super laggy tonight, a buddy of mine lost a hardcore character due to a lag spike D:

Yeah that would be another thing holding me back, I get a lot of lag on start-up and the occasional server lag which can fuck you up. =\ I'm almost on act 3 on nightmare, it's pretty damn tough! Good luck on hell =P

Hit hell and after a while it gets repetitive, I hope Blizz comes up with something because just grinding for gear is not really an end-game content.

Don't take me wrong, I love the game! But it IS really short... consider that you play the story 4 times just harder. I might give a try to Torchlight 2 that looks interesting

Well the end game in past diablo games, has been to grind for gear, so it's not really anything new or surprising. However I'd have to agree, I'm already kinda bored with Diablo 3. I find that the grinding is not as rewarding to me, verse in Diablo 2. Used to enjoy trying to find set gear, and just the epic items. The problem with Diablo 3, is those items are not all that great, so it takes away. If set items and legendary items were just that, legendary and epic, then I'd be on there right now with others grinding for those.

Also it doesn't seem like they actually put a lot of time into the game, when it comes down to content.Act 1 and 2 seem like they were more developed than Act 3 and 4. It seems like Act 1 and 2 do drag on however, and when you hit Act 3 and 4 they go by very quickly. Seems like there should be a lot more Acts, and different places to visit to make the game kinda changing for the person playing.

Honestly, if another studio had the same amount of time with the game, I would suspect most any other studio would be able to include far more content than this. I think Blizzard has things up it's sleeve, and is just using the mass following that Diablo had, to make some serious cash at the gamers expense. I can see a lot of expansions and DLC content coming to Diablo 3, if they follow today's trend.

The game is full of space for DLC and for paying that much money it feels like a rip-off. You can just see the bag space in your chest has enough for more and they will give it to you, but with an expansion.

I don't know how they thought about the game, the story was good, but it was short, most people finish it in 2-3 days casual gaming, and maybe a week with super casual gaming. I don't know how people feel about it but just because it has more difficulties doesn't make it longer. It's just another challenge but not a longer or bigger game.

I also think that the drops are way lower than D2, I remember playing and having more fun with loot drops than in this game, and items are just way to random, it's like the game was made justo to grind, go to the AH try to make money and buy stuff you need, you never see an item right for you, maybe 1 out of 300 or more. Beilive me when I say I've played a lot of it and I loved the game, playing with friends is awesome too, it just gets repetitive after a while.

On the other hand you have a simple nice online/offline game coming up from the ex-creators of D2, that's Torchlight 2, that looks like a true game made for gamers. It sells for just $20 and I think if you like Diablo it would be good to give it a try, at least I will.
