Just as gaming in general, what do you guys think are the best ways to regenerate HP in any game, or just smart ideas/creative concepts. This is what I've gathered, some of the ways I love: -Medkit (Left4Dead) -Ability to Heal (Priest from any MMO) -Medi-ray (Starcraft 2 & Team fortress 2) -Sandvich (Team Fortress 2) -Bed (Elder scrolls) anything else? |

regen(GOW) potions (nearly all MMOs) lifesteal (LoL) Spellvamp (LoL) replenishing hunger (Minecraft) thats all i got |
life steal and spell vamp yea :D |

You can heal by giving each other hugs in the new Kirby! That's pretty cool. I also will always love the way the fairy heals you in the original legend of zelda for NES. Any fairy healing is cool though throughout the Zelda series. But while we are on the subject I need to add that basic healing in Final Fantasy XI is the bane of my life. You literally take a knee and stair at the ground for minutes at a times waiting for your bar to regain... stupid tebow-ing. |
keep going guys... u just never think about these things. |

I haven't really seen any creative way to heal. Most are basic. Zombie games use bandages / medkits, fantasy games generally use potions or orbs, etc etc. Some are more dependent on the healing classes to heal. Some you use a bed. The best way to heal, really depends on the game your playing. |

If you've played Realm of the Mad God, you heal by teleporting back to your 'base' and standing in some magic water pool, and that shit heals you up almost instantly. Similar to how it's done in SMITE and Dota and most MOBA games, and i'm sure quite a few other games, those are just the ones on the top of my head. Pros, it's quick Cons, you have to run or teleport back to your spot. |

Wrench and lifesteal ability from bioshock are the best. It's fun, powerful and useful. |
Eating trees. |

Engineer's Healing Bot from Torchlight II. The enemies don't target the bot and it will last as long as you don't load a new map. It heals periodically and doesn't take any further resources other than the initial burst of mana. It also heals teammates that are out of your bot's sights; so you could be out of its circle and still heal. Really helps when you're in a cluster **** of a boss where there are a **** ton of enemies on your screen. What you're really trying to do is spam your skills and run away from enemy attacks. The healing bot keeps you alive and you don't even need a finger on your health button. |

I just remembered a good one. SimAnt for the SNES. lol You even say thank you in a dinky high pitched voice. |
Oh also there are league champs like nunu that consume other things to eat and the mouth in guildwars2 campaign that eats magical items! |
Ever try a Super Potion? It's super effective. |
this is great! |
"okay, ill take your pokemon for a few seconds..." *da da da duh dum* |
I remember that in FFXI, I will never ever forget it, it was horrendous, but I still loved the game as a whole! Shields and Lifesteal. HoT(Heal over Time) based healing is one my absolute favorite ways to heal up. Healing Orbs are always nice or player interaction healing. |
Team Fortress 2 healer is pretty fun to play. Interesting take on healing as well. |
how about Chansey soft-boiled in pokemon gamez? why else go thru all the torment of the safari zone? |
Dota trees for healing are the best. Yes, kirk mentioned it doesn't make sense, but it's a game!!!! |
how'd you get a signature? |
I can't believe such an obscure topic like this has so many responses while all the MMO ones are dying from inactivity... lol |
He probably post that picture at the end of every post.I have seen that pic before on other mmo forums. |
