So what is everyone's favorite TV series? If it's too hard to pick one post a few!
Right now for me it's a bit of a toss up between two. With netflix It's hard to focus on one series!

Arrested Development, and Ghost in the Shell are the two.
I don't think I've laughed at anything as much as Arrested Development.

I have several TV series I enjoy. One is THE NEW GIRL, starring Zoey Deschanel as a cute and quirky girl named Jess. (Kind of like the Jess on the Daily Drop). I also enjoy RAISING HOPE, MODERN FAMILY, and THE MIDDLE. Guess all these series prove I like comedies better than dramas.

I have to Admit New Girl is an awesome show! I love the humor in it, sadly I don't have a lot of time to follow the schedule on TV.

And I've been meaning to watching Breaking Bad, It's an netflix and a few friends are telling me it's probably the best series out there. I'll have to give it a try.

I don't watch TV much anymore. All the reality TV is getting annoying. I used to watch and keep up with a lot of Sci Fi(SyFy) series such as the Stargate ones, etc. I do from time to time, watch them on Netflix, and catch up on old favorites like Sliders.

Huge fan of The Office, even though it's not as good with Michael Scott gone. I also watch New Girl and anything on The Food Network!

I will always be a Joss Weadon fan. I just wish he was given the credit he deserves.

    Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Serenity, Dollhouse

I have to admit, Dollhouse really started out great and held good for a while till he was told he was going to be shut down (AGAIN) and he had to rush everything into a few last episodes. The ending *sigh* as most of the endings to his series' kinda stunk. But cant blame him for Fox screwing him over again and again and him having to try to rush what was supposed to be many years of story smushed into a few episodes.

Outside of Joss Weadon stuffs tho i really have been enjoying Fringe, Walking Dead, Alphas and a few others...

In the past i enjoyed Charmed and Moonlight (only one short season before it was taken off the air) and LOVED Due South (maybe cuz i had a mad crush on the mountie)

We just stared on Continuum. It sounded interesting and was filmed in Vancouver. Also we have been considering starting up Breaking Bad since its on Netflix and we can easily watch it on our own time.

Theres many good series' out there.

I pretty much agree with everyone here on tv shows. Breaking Bad might be the best thing on television right now, although being a huge zombie fan I am amazed how far Walking Dead has come and have found myself forgetting to breathe at times because of it. And since I mention the awesome AMC programs I'd like to add how great Comic Book Men is. As a fan of Kevin Smith's work I think its great for people who want to learn more about the origins of their favorite super heroes, after all they all began in comics.

I'm glad I don't have to sound like an old timer because their are still great cartoons out their for kids. Adventure Time and Regular Show are hilarious, I love them. I don't know how the hell they found a way to make adults and kids watch the same thing with equal enjoyment. Nickelodeon also succeeds by bringing me Avatar: The Last Airbender, which has since evolved into Legend of Korra.

Jess from New Girl is one of my favorite characters now, well maybe Schmidt even more. I also enjoy mocumentaries like The Office and Parks and Recreation. I can't not smile when watching Leslie Knope, and Michael Scott is one of a kind. Modern Family is also amazing, can't leave that out.

LLunatic - I agree Joss Whedon is brilliant. He did an amazing job with The Avengers and I got a bit too happy when I found out he was a screenwriter for Toy Story after all these years.

You guys seriously covered everything though. I watch so many shows, but if you haven't you should also check out Unsupervised and Archer if you like comedic cartoons. Check out Criminal Minds if you want something thrilling like along the lines of Dexter, and anyone who hasn't seen Community is totally missing out. (the action-rpg episode is the best of course)

Poor Arrested Development -- it never gets the love and affection that it deserves... Only one mention? Definitely worth checking out on Netflix if you haven't yet, mostly since its COMING BACK NEXT SPRING!!

My relationship with Dexter is a complicated one. I've only ever seen one episode (which was the pilot and it was pretty decent, I'll admit), but it's one of those shows that's so over talked about that I just get turned off by it. I feel like if I give in now, I'd just be conforming because everyone told me to, rather than it having been pursued of my own interest... if that makes any sense...?

You should check out Dexter, Mark. It being on Showtime should be enough proof nowadays that it's worth a look. If you didn't like it after an episode or two there's no reason to force it, but if you liked the episode you saw it's probably for a reason. The only problem with the show is that it really couldn't ever work because Dexter happens to do things that psychologically serial killers wouldn't (which is in part what classifies them as a serial killer). I don't know the specifics I just know its a flaw, albeit super insignificant to entertainment purposes lol.

I totally understand not liking over-hyped things though. I have been made fun of for being a "hipster" because of how passionately I stay away from things people talk about too often, its bad ><     On that note, there are tons of things I finally caved to or haven't yet given a shot that I know for a fact are amazing. Check it out and jump on the Dexter bandwagon!

I just rewatched Arrested Development lol! You're right it doesn't get enough love. One thing that show did was end it's run before going too far. 3 seasons may be short but I think for that show it was perfect. The movie should be great too. I wonder if Jason Bateman is in anything bad?

Yes both. Workaholics is one of my new favorites. So tight buttholes. I'm not saying that they have tight buttholes, they just are tight butthole. XD

Always Sunny is so good. Best episode "might" be the season 4 finale. "Day Man, fighter of the Night Man, Champion of the sun!"
Kitten Mittens was also an amazing creation. Oh man to many funny moments I should stop.

my roommates were all huge arrested development fans, just reassurance that it gets some love

I grew up on public television though, which basically means I don't watch very much tv.  I was never allowed to watch horrible shows like the simpsons either, it was bill nye, kratt's creatures, or arthur growing up.  Now im still exceptionally fond of all of those but theres only 1 tv show i really watch now.  Doctor who.  This should double as my guilty pleasures post because to this day I have no idea why I love it so, but I do and I guess thats that.

Hey, there ain't anything wrong with Bill Nye or Kratt's Creatures; that's some quality stuff. But since we're talking about guilty pleasures and favorite TV shows...

    Revenge.

Super soapy, super complex, super awesome. I can't be the only one here... can I?  O.O

Doctor Who is crazy good bro. Super huge fan base, one of the bigger Geek staples if you ask me. (mainly because of how long it's been around)

Mark I haven't seen revenge but thank you for recommending it because i've heard of it and am looking for another show to watch.

Oh who doesn't! The Walking Dead is getting insane, can't wait for this weeks episode.

To each their own man. I am an avid lover of Big Bang and other shows, but sometimes you just aren't into what other people are. Some things just don't reach us and indirectly make us look like hipsters lol.

As far as Big Bang goes, my suggestion is watch from the beginning if you can. Like many shows the earlier seasons are great... But as a huge fan I won't shy away from saying that I think the show went down hill for a bit before returning to a solid sitcom. It still won't ever be as good as the first two seasons though so my only advice is stick with the early stuff to try to get into it. Otherwise OH WELL YOU TRIED!

Most shows fail to capture the awesome factor they did when they first become popular... and only a choice few can be considered to have had a flawless run. You should watch the Neighbors though lmao! Already caught up with the 8 episodes this season and it's a FANTASTIC new comedy.

Some reality shows are pretty cool if made right and your into that genre of stuff. Comic Book Men is my favorite now probably.
Just got into the show Ink Masters last month though and caught up. Now I watch it every week.

Food network has tons to choose from so I get it!!! Cupcake Wars is awesome and watched the second half of Next Food Network Star when I first got television out here.

Have not watched Cupcake Wars.  Have you seen the show with that creepy bald guy that loves sweets?  Ummm .. can't think of the name.  It's a challenge show and they just makes sweet stuff, but the bald guy is creepy as fuck.

Anyone watch Bob's Burgers? Took me a while to check out an episode, but the more you watch the funnier the characters are. Great voice acting honestly. Plus anything with H. Jon Benjamin is awesome. Speaking of which, Archer anyone? Home movies? Venture bros?

My parents recently got into Netflix, and one of the first things they started watching was episodes of LOST.

Like I may or may  not have said above, I don't watch a lot of TV, so I missed the LOST craze entirely.  Still, I got hooked on it for awhile last weekend.  That's an extremely good show, but it will be a long time before I'm free to just watch marathons of episodes all day long.

Still, would I be the only Dr. Who fan on this board?

LOST was great when I watched it. Didn't know what to expect from the ignoring the craze chatter. The first few season are made very well and I think is worth a watch for anyone. After a certain point you're just watching it to see how it ends, and who the characters really are overall. Not going to lie, it had me very hooked throughout season one. Like more than a show should. I felt like I was trapped on an island... watching a show about people trapped on an island.

I didn't get into lost until after the craze had died either, but I think thats the best way to watch it. no waiting for the next ep on cliffhangers, I could just power right through. I legit had like a month long lost marathon, lol
