Greetings internet people!My name is Justin, I live in California and it's probably safe to say I'm the stereotypical Californian. Don't worry I take pride in that.Anyways, I'm currently still in college working on my second bachelor's degree in Digital Media and Character Design/Development. I already have a degree in Fine Arts.I got into gaming when I was just a wee little boy playing the original Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo and I never looked back. I enjoy every game and genre out there. From shooters, simulators, casuals, RPGs, sports, you name it, I play it.I have to say though, if I had to choose a specific genre I enjoy the most it would have to be RPGs. I just get really into the stories, and if you add good music and memorable characters that just makes it even better.If you're bored of me yet then you've probably stopped reading...if you're still with me! Right on!! keep reading!Aside from gaming, I have a deep love for Art, Music, and Sports. I don't think I can live my life without any of these. My dream job one day is to work for Disney and help create a memorable character following the footsteps of Mickey Mouse, Simba, the Little Mermaid, Wall-E, etc.. I post some of my artwork and renderings online so check them out if you're interested.I play the guitar and piano and it really brings out the artistic side of me that works well with my passion for art.Last but not least, I'm a huge sports fan, especially football. I always have been since I was little. I live in California but my favorite team is the Detroit Lions. Go Lions!! surprising I know right? well growing up the first game I attended was a Lions game and for those of you that follow football, I saw Barry Sanders run. He was my favorite player and got me interested in football. Hey Justin!Welcome to the mmoattack forums! awesome career choice, I too would love to work for Disney as an imagineer, but I have few hopes of ever actually getting that. I am content to design navy equipment for now, but you sound like you might get a shot someday. If I had to guess, I would say you probably do NOT play halo and gears of war, but thats mostly because I see no GT listed (or you hate having friends on xbl). Helloooo Justin!Welcome to MMOAttack =D RPG's are where its at for games (in my honest opinion). You are just everywhere in terms of interests, which is good, diversity is good! You are going to end up with two degrees?! I wanted to do that (as a double major though - Psychology and Communications) but that would just get too ridiculous, so I am just doing a minor in Psychology and a major in Communications.It's funny that you mention the Detroit Tigers (at least I think so) since I live like 5 minutes over the border from Detroit (I KNOW RIGHT?!) and I still haven't gone to a Lions game, although I've been to a Red Wings game for the NHL (I prefer hockey over football, don't hurt me)!It's nice meeting you and I (and I am sure others as well) hope to see you around the Forums in the future! -
Nice to meet you Justin!First off, love that your'e a football fan, we need more of those around here! I'm a big time Chargers fan, but there's many teams that i'm fond of, Lions being one of them, mostly because Calvin Johnson is on some of my fantasy teams, he's a beast! I also like Jahvid Best, hope he comes back soon.We both play music, so we also have that in common. I play bass in a crappy rock band. I should post my band's stuff somewhere on this forum.Also i'd like to see some of your artwork. Where can I find it? (besides stalking your twitter account, and finding your blog, which links to your website, which takes me to your deviant art account, where i can find your work) <that's usually how i find shit out. -
Justin - Nice to meet you! Pretty cool my gaming life started the same way and play tons of different games, whatever is enjoyable after picking up the controller really. Not cool like you and Kirk though as I don't play any instruments. I was pretty sick at rock band though .... XD Barry Sanders was amazing. Like truly a unique player. Even though many people hate that he left in his prime, he kind of achieved a rare feat, in that people can't say a bad thing about his on field performances. He was pretty much 100% his entire career, not many people can say that. Tough year you are having though. Not as bad as having to watch the Cowboys, ugh. I like too many teams though so whatever!
Racquel - You are Canadian, you are supposed to like Hockey more. It makes sense! Plus the Red Wings are consistently boss. Boss boss boss.

Thanks for all the welcomes so far!To answer a few of your pressing life-altering questions:@lucigen I actually don't have an Xbox meaning no I do not play Halo or Gears =O Don't worry I'm not a Xbox or Microsoft hater, I just never got around to getting one. I haven't played Guild Wars 2. I'm a WoW player =) and that's where I spend most of my mmo time.@racquel I am getting two degrees. I wanted to double major as well but it was too time consuming at the time so I decided to graduate with one and get another afterwards. I'm one of those crazy people who enjoys school I guess. Speaking of hockey, I enjoy a little bit of it now and then. I used to watch more when I was younger. I followed the Maple Leafs for who knows why. Maybe it was because I loved watching Tie Domi get into a fight every game lol@kirk Agree - Calvin Johnson is a beast! everytime he catches a ball, I'm like "that is not fair" he is too big, fast, and freakish for all these defenders. Also I just found out that Jahvid Best might not come back for a while now and it could end his playing days. Really sucks, I watched him play at Cal a few years back and was super stoked when he joined the Lions. Holy, good for you! I am debating on getting another degree after this one. It might not be until later though. I am sick of school already... aha. I WANT A JOOOB.
I like school, don't get me wrong, but I will have been in it for four years straight after high school (winter, fall, spring and summer semesters) and I am tired aha.
MAPLE LEAFS FTW!! Tie Domi was pretty kick ass, I will say that and I liked Darcy Tucker too. The team, before the last lockout, has just gone downhill since... unfortunately. -
