So what is everyone rocking when it comes to their command center(PC)? Anything you are looking to purchase for it soon, or want to upgrade to?

    My setup currently includes:

    Antec Darkfleet 30 Case
    AMD Phenom X4 3.4GHz Black
    Crucial Ballistix 16GB DDR3 1600
    2 750GB drives, 2 1TB drives
2x (dual) MSI 6870 Hawk Radeons
    Corsair 750W PSU
    Win7 64bit
    24" Samsung Syncmaster
    Logitech 500W 5.1 Speaker System

I try and upgrade about every 3 months to try and keep ahead. Last thing I did was bump up from 8GB to 16GB RAM, and added a second 6870 Hawk. That was a few months back. This month I am swapping out the Phenom for a AMD FX Eight-Core CPU, which will also require a mobo change. I'm probably going to have to switch over to liquid cooling as well, since adding the second card. I might splurge and get a new LED monitor. I feel like I'm behind on that.

    This puppy :) http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GT683.html

Though I'll admit I use it more for video capture and rendering more than gaming ;)

Alienware M17x. It really should not be considered a laptop, it's a damn monstrosity of a computer. Portability FTL :(

Right now I'm on my Asus G74SX laptop. It's a beast of a system, though it can't handle some of the new higher end games. Great for most games though.

At home is my pride and joy though.

    Corsair 700D case
    Intel I5-750 @ 4.0ghz
    Noctua NH-D14 heatsink
    Mushkin Redline DDR3 1600 2x2gb
    500gb WD Black HDD
    120gb Intel X-25m SSD
    EVGA Gtx 480
    Corsair HX1000 PSU
    Win 7 64Bit
    23" Samsng LED

Hopefully some good upgrades coming this summer. I'm looking into getting a GTX 680 and 4 more gigs of ram(for the hell of it, 4gigs is fine) And possibly looking into installing a corsair 100H instead of the Noctua NH-D14 because the thing is just massive. Though it is a superb cooler.

A link to pictures of my build: http://imgur.com/a/dzoGs

I was really proud of it once it was done. A nice sleek design was exactly what I wanted.

    My battlestation:

AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition 3.4 GHz
4 GB RAM (need more ha)
    2 TB HDD
Don't remember the PSU brand, but it's 750W I believe
    Radeon HD 4870 graphics card
    2 monitors (22-inch and a 20-inch I believe)
Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition keyboard
    Razer DeathAdder mouse
    AstroGaming A30 headset
    Blue Snowball mic

I need to upgrade a few things, but it's alright :)

(PS I moved this from Off Topic to General Gaming - I think it's quite on topic actually :D)

I was wondering if someone was gonna do that. =P

You have a good setup. It sounds like mine not to long ago. Only difference was I had a 4890, which fried forcing me to upgrade immediately lol. I think the only real thing is that card, since I don't believe the 4870 is rocking DX11. If your an AMD/Radeon support as I, you might consider the 6870. They do have better though now.

Thanks for the tip - I've been wanting to upgrade my video card at some point, just not quite yet, and I know next to nothing about them, so I had no idea which one to think about buying.

Graphic cards are pretty straight forward, and with your PSU you should be able to handle any single card out there.

Just look into some benchmarks for the cards or reviews. They are the most helpful tool when researching, and usually show nice graphs to make it simple.

I just ordered the parts for my new build. Should have it put together by next weekend (hopefully) and I'll take some pics!

The specs for the new build:
AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor (should be able to overclock to 4.1GHz pretty easily)
128GB SSD HDD (primary), 2x 1TB WD Caviar Black HDD and 1x 750GB WD Caviar Green (from current PC)
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Radeon HD 4860 video card (from current PC)
    Logitech G15 keyboard
    Logitech G500 mouse
LG W2240T monitor (I did have two but one is stranded at my parent's house across the country :p)

I'll probably upgrade the video card eventually, but I'm happy with it for now.

My gaming rig is a Laptop that has parts from around 6-8 laptops inside of it. 4TB of HDD 3 monitors and a sound system that will shake my house. Nothing to play Skyrim on with full draw distances though.

    Where the magic happens:
    Thermaltake Overseer RX-I
    ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
AMD FX-8120 X8 3.1GHz (OC at 4.4 for absolutely no reason at all lol)
    Kingston XMP 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 (2x4GB)
    Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm
    Thermaltake 750watt PSU
EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 570 HD 1280MB GDDR5
ASUS 24" 2ms LED backlit monitor
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Also, I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro because Macs are AWESOME.

And I always used to make fun of PC gamers for being "nerds" when I was younger  =[
