So what is your favorite character in a game, of all time? Try to choose only one, from any game you've ever played. I'm still trying to decide on mine. doh! -
Master Chief! -
Leon Kennedy. What a bad-ass! I mean he kills zombie and then he acts in a movie where he kills zombies.
Not to mention he's got some serious style going on! =P -
I LOVE Altaïr in Assassin's Creed I. He was a bad-ass unlike Ezio. Ezio was still a bad-ass but more of a man-whore I would say. I don't like that too much. -

I'm really excited for the new Tomb Raider. Lara actually looks human and finally bleeds quite well. This will be a very positive response for strong female gamers. -

I am at the conclusion, that I have to many favorites. I think one of my favorites has always been Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.

my favorite honestly has to be wheatley from portal 2. He and i were best friends until he tried to kill me.
I also think its interesting that the Master Chief shows up so much despite the utter lack of character development for him in the games. Halo 4 is trying to change it up... might ruin it, might be awesome, we will see! -

This.The thing is, Mario isn't terribly interesting as an actual character; he's in some amazing games, but you could really replace him with anyone and the games would be just as good. -

Master Chief SAVES EARTH (and obviously a lot of other things). And I think anytime you relate a game to the real world, in this case that relation being the future of Earth, the characters involved automatically evoke an emotional attachment to the audience's subconscious mind. In which case you generally wouldn't think of it this way, but you would just shout "Master Chief!" like I did lol Maybe that's why many of us are so partial to John, regardless of the fact that he hasn't been with us as long as Donkey Kong, Mario, or Link and their unique fantastical universes. -
Auron from FFX lol. I had such a huge crush on him the first time i played FFX. Even listening to the music from FFX still gives me the little tinglies from the emotion behind my crush.
Funny thing the other day my guildie pointed out to me that he looks alot like bruce willis. I had to laugh at that one. I never noticed before 0,0

It's always gonna come down to Mario and Yoshi for me. lol, simple but the best. -
Mario does seem like a cop out but I might agree. Id prefer having his lineup of games in my life even if others are my favorites.
