What is your favorite band right now? Mine changes all the time, but i'm rocking Steel Panther in the old iPod non-stop for the past year. I saw them in concert 5 times last year.

What is everyone else listening to? I need some new music!

Well my favorite band is Korn. Now and days though, I've been listening to mostly dubstep style music. I like music with sick beats, keeps me going. Right now I have a playlist going with some Pendulum, UKF mixes, random dub mixes, Flux Pavilion, Datsik, and so forth. Right now, Deadmau 5 is playing through his Excision album.

I mean, if your passing out.. slam some coffee or red bulls and toss on some dubstep.

I love Deadmau5. My favorite genres are probably electronic, mashups, and some indie music - Daft Punk, Anamanaguchi, Diplo, Milkman, The Decemberists, and some other stuff.

I'll admit, I do like Skrillex. Don't give no fucks.

Some of the mixes with Skrillex are fine. A few on the new Korn album with Skrillex. I tried listening to a few of his albums though, and it just didn't have enough kick. You can't go from Deadmau5 to Skrillex. Must be two separate days.

Lol Skrillex - I listen to him more while playing SSX than it comes up on my Last.fm

I'm a pretty eclectic listener, but I'm big on OSTs instead of single artists. At the moment there's a lot of Bastion and Sherlock OST going on. Usually I'm listening to a lot of Pendulum, Crystal Method, Andy Hunter, Prodigy, Static-X and Powerman 5000, Mushroomhead... list goes on.

I'm more of an electrohouse guy, big fan of people like Mord Fustang and Feed Me. Have been listening to Glitch Mob recently though with some success. Forever a Yes, The Who, and Pink Floyd fan though

@Jessica Anamanaguchi!!!!! I always get weird looks from friends when I say their name haha.

Deadmau5, Daftpunk, Blue Scholars. I like a lot of melow beats and good lyrics, I listen to a lot of seattle hip-hop and music from the west it seems. But in general rap and techno is what I like

Well I put you all the shame because I listen to Classic Rock and Heavy Metal. NOO not the new crap that comes out I mean the old Metal. Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden. Then classic rock is like Led Zep, The Guess Who, The Who, etc etc.

Rock is in the blood man. Cant get rid of it. But I also listen Deadmau5 and some some like that. Also I listen to trailer music.

If you have the right imagination. You're mind can create anything

I love most of the electronic artists and dubstep ones that are mentioned above. I personally love music with witty lyrics, plays on words and such things. I listen to a lot of rhyme asylum, crate creeps, cunninglynguists, swollen members, Eminem and so on. Really whatever tickles my fancy XD

I like those bands as well. If I had to choose my favorite genres, it would be rock and alternative rock. I literally listen to everything except country. Few songs I don't mind, but 99% I don't care for. Few of my favorite alt rock bands are Three Days Grace, Rammstein, Trapt, Limp Bizkit, System of a Down, Saliva, Slipknot...etc etc. Lately though, it's been techno, dubstep, and just whatever.

Lots of dubstep lately for me. There are lots of dubstep haters out there, but what I have come to realize is that for every 10 dubstep songs, one is pure awesome and the others suck. It's taken me a LOT of listening over the last 2 years to build up my solid dubstep playlist of just 120 songs. Oh and Skrillex = overrated

I know I came in a bit late but I love the acoustic stuff. It is hands down amazing... I also am fond of Alternative metal such as Tool. My favourite bands are Tool, Staind, Red Hot Chili Peppers, In Flames, the oldies like Led Zeppelin and more recently METALLICA. Oh, and if you have never heard of it, Apocalyptica.... its a metal cello band, its awesome. Just listen...

I don't have a specific band, but I do love using Pandora because it opens up an entirely new world of music to me. I choose a song/artist that I like listening to, and it does the rest! I'm almost ALWAYS happy with the songs it chooses for me. Lately I've been listening to a "Levels" Pandora station. It has a lot of house-type influence and a little bit of dubstep in the mix, based on what I have thumbs-upped and thumbs-downed lol.

And by the way Skrillex is not overrated, he's just good!

Levels is a great song (im assuming aviici).  Im a big fan of armin van buuren who does a live show (a state of trance) which is all over the internet and its while it claims to be trance its a huge collection of trance, progressive, and house kind of stuff in a 2hr long set that gets played once a week.  real awesome i would highly suggest checking it out!

Garage... All garage all the time... well almost. Ty Segall Band easily my favourite band right now by far, then Jeff the Brotherhood, or Bass Drum of Death. I used to listen to basically everything but I just don't have the time to find new music for every genre so I sort of just stuck with a few favourites from all the genres, and then just follow garage now. As far as rap/hip-hop goes it's usually Das Racist, then for folk stuff I really enjoy Kurt Vile, and J Mascis' solo stuff is fantastic. If you're a big guitar buff you have to like J Mascis since well... He's a god. Never could get to into electro stuff, I don't mind Cariboo.
