Hi-Rez Studios continues with the tradition of the Wednesday update for the award-winning MOBA game SMITE, with the latest patch including a rework for one of the games most devastating mages. Agni has been treated to a complete makeover this week with brand new models, animations, 2D Art and FX for a selection of his more popular skins. A few changes have also been made to the recovery time of his more powerful abilities to allow players with higher ping to still execute his more difficult combos.
As is normal with the regular SMITE updates there's a huge list of changes in the official patch notes accompanying the new Agni. Included in these notes is an experimental kind of item tree, a new selection of items that will allow players to take multiple items from the same tree but not the same tier. This means huge changes for the likes of Qin's Blades and the Executioner, in essence giving players stats from multiple items but in a single slot.
A number of other items have seen minor changes as well as a few small tweaks to certain God abilities. For more information check the official patch notes link below.
