Bigpoint Taking Several Online Games To Retail This Autumn
Bigpoint today announced a deal with UK games distributor Contact Sales and its PC games publishing arm Excalibur Publishing to release three of its games into UK and Ireland retail outlets this autumn.
Three of Bigpoint's biggest MMORPG titles, Battlestar Galactica Online, Drakensang Online and Pirate Storm, will each be sold in retail outlets in the UK and Ireland (RRP £9.99). Each box will consist of a client to launch the online game and an exclusive starter pack only available with the retail box, containing £15 (£25 for Pirate Storm) of in-game items. The items provide new or existing players with easier entry into the game, game advantages and individual upgrades and improvements.
