Dark-Fantasy MMO, Requiem: Memento Mori, Haunting Facebook Later This Month
Gravity Interactive, a publisher of exciting massive multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs), unveiled some additional details for the upcoming Facebook launch of the popular dark-fantasy MMO, Requiem: Memento Mori. September is ready to trump October as the spookiest month of the year! Players can head to http://www.playrequiem.com/ to get a glimpse of the game before the official launch next month.
Requiem: Memento Mori is not like other Facebook games; it’s a fully immersive 3D MMORPG, a dark fantasy theme with enough blood, violence and nudity to garner an M-rating from the ESRB. Since its launch in June 2008, it has gathered a dedicated community of both hardcore and casual gamers on WarpPortal. With the launch of a new Facebook edition of Requiem, a whole new community with a macabre game will bloom, as more players discover Requiem for the first time..
The upcoming launch will also kick off numerous GM-hosted events. Getting started is easy, as Facebook require no download or installation – just enable the app and you’re ready to dive into the wicked world of Requiem.
Once in game, players will be able to peruse a list of ongoing events and activities which will take place throughout the day and night. Every day could have its own events!
To prepare for the Facebook launch, the game developers took a long look at Requiem’s introduction and have made numerous changes all the way from level one starting areas, to the cap of level 85. The Facebook edition of Requiem also introduces a new type of party challenge: Chaste Sanctum is an instanced dungeon intended for multiple players to enter, socialize in, and grab treasure while completing quests that take them deeper into the haunted catacombs where the most horrifying monsters yet will appear.
