We here at MMO Attack love new game news. So it is my great pleasure to introduce a brand new free to play multiplayer game based on the universe of Confrontation, Dogs of War Online. The game will be released for the PC sometime in Q2 of 2013 and is coming to us from an independent video game studio based in Paris called Cyanide Studio.
Dogs of War Online is a turn-based, tactical arena game that draws heavily on the gameplay influences of the game by Rackham. In Dogs of War Online players will be tasked with creating a squad of mercenaries which is made up of personally chosen units and sending them into battle using a movement system based on hexagonal boxes.
At its launch Dogs of War Online will offer three armies: Ram, which is composed of undead minions; Lion, with noble knights; and Wolfen, dangerous predators. In the game players will also need to demonstrate a strong sense of leadership as mercenaries deal with problems like tension, theft, and desertion.
Below you can find some freshly released screenshots and some great confrontation images between the Lion and the Wolfen.
