Image of First Content Update for MMORPG Scarlet Blade

The free-to-play MMORPG Scarlet Blade has finally seen its first content update. Players who have grown bored of repetitive areas or who have hit level cap will finally have something new to experience.

A big addition to this MMO title is a neutral territory called Viledon. Viledon hosts news convoy missions that pit players against each other in adrenaline filled mayhem. Unlike past convoys, factions will now be on the same track, integrating both defense and offensive strategies as you make your way toward a drop-off point. Convoys are action-packed, but newly added dungeons also bring intensity to the mix. Players will likely need to reach the new level cap if they want to feel safe in this dark environment. Players may even want to seek out higher level gear now available in the game.

Don?t worry; you won?t need to keep leveling your character in the same old places just to experience the new ones. Additional PvE areas will help to deliver innovative battles and hopefully, a new location for PvP showdowns. Aesthetic tweaks like weapon skins put the icing on the cake in this update. There isn?t too much information on what players will experience through these updates, so make sure to check out Scarlet Blade as soon as possible to get the low down on all the new content.

"Free To Play" is the phrase that's been on everyone's lips lately, particularly in the world of MMOs. It's the new business model that every production executive is cooing over; the model that many have come to hate with a burning, fiery passion. But is it really so bad?

Ten of the Strangest MMOs Ever Made

Not every game ever developed makes perfect sense. Although the MMO market is (presumably) harder to break into than most, it nevertheless has its fair share of odd ducks. After a bit of digging, I've managed to come up with a list of the strangest black sheep MMOs have to offer. Note that none of these games are necessarily BAD...they're just head-scratchingly, wall-bangingly bizarre.

Top 10 Best MMORPGs Remaining In 2013

Half a year ago, MMO Attack rung in the new year by discussing the top MMORPGs to keep an eye on in 2013. Some of the games have released successfully as planned, while others have fallen flat or pushed to a later date. A lot can change in six months. That?s why I felt the need to hunt down the remaining MMORPGs that are due to still (possibly) release by the time 2013 is over.
