Gears of War 3 is bringing a new set of maps for players to bout themselves against Mother Nature with snowstorms, fog, and tsunamis, all while they are contending against the bloodthirsty locusts. There are a total of five new maps which include Cove, Aftermath, and Artillery, and fans will also get to return to some old stomping grounds with Jacinto and Raven Down from Gears of War 2.
If that isn’t enough for Gearheads, players won’t be just limited to the new maps with the latest add-on. There are also four new character models and seven new weapons skins, so players can look their best out there.
Not only that, but Epic has brought back the “Guardian” game mode where players infinitely spawn until the opposing enemy leader is slain. It is supposed to be just as fun as it was in previous games.
In addition to all of this, players will find a bonus of 250 gamerscore with 10 new achievements to challenge themselves with.
If you don’t already have the Summer Pass that Gears of War has offered, which will allow you to get it for free, it will set you back 800 Microsoft Points, but it is definitely worth getting if you are into the Gears of War series.
