MMOpinion | Do you like mash-up games?

Mash up-games like Super Smash Bros are great. They combine elements from different games and, more importantly, bring together some awesome characters that would normally not be associated with each other.
Now, all game play aside, do you like to see franchises collide in this fashion? What's your opinion on mash-up games? Do you like different characters showing up in other series?
