Skyrim?s new patch has landed for the console gamers of the game. The patch includes its new animations for melee kills as well as ranged and magic attacks, which has just been introduced for the first time in Skyrim.
The patch not only adds the new animation, Bethesda has also fixed a few bugs that were roving around as well. They said that the game should experience less quests and fewer ?blocked? quests as well. Additionally, the sun won?t disappear after you fast travel to other places anymore.
"We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support of the game. This week Todd informed me that the average Skyrim play time (across all three platforms) is 85 hours, and 30% of you have played more than 100 hours of the game. These are truly astounding numbers!" says Bethesda.
The development team is by no means finished with the game, though. Last weekend, Bethesda said that they've got some "cool news and surprises" for Skyrim fans. In all probability, this means that they'll announce the first DLC. No doubt they'll continue patching the game as needed, too.
