Team Fortress 2 gets a new map, game-mode

The fans of the free-to-play team-based shooter game, Team Fortress 2, are in for a surprise. Valve has announced that the Pyromania update for the title will add a new map called ?Doomsday? and a brand new game mode. Today is supposed to be the release of the Meet the Pyro short introduction video.

The new game mode that Valve is release has BLU and RED teams fighting against each other to secure a suitcase full of ?Australium? to American monkeynaut Poopy Joe?s rocket, so he can blast off and hunt down Soviet space chimp Vladimir Bananas. The players battle each other to transport the fuel up a ?preposterously slow-moving elevator? in order to complete the task at hand.

On the Team Fortress website (http://www.teamfortress.com/pyromania/doomsday/), they have a list of achievements that players are able to get.

It also looks like for the Pyromania Day Two, they have announced three new characters as well. There is a The Public Enemy: Scout, who gets the ?Pretty Boy?s Pocket Pistol? and ?Baby Face?s Blaster?. There is the Urban Professional: Sniper who is equipped with the ?Cleaner?s Carbine? and the ?Hitman?s Heatmaker? and finally the Dumpster Diver: Solider who handles the ?Beggar?s Bazooka?. All of these look very exciting for the upcoming things that Team Fortress 2 is releasing.

Get ready because the final day before the Meet the Pyro is coming at 2pm EST. Get your scorchshots ready!
